The trip is off to a rough start for our family. Kristin, Owen and Charlotte were all sick with the stomach flu during the night. Hopefully Kristin and Charlotte will recover soon enough to feel better for travelling. It's a LOOOOONNNNNNGGGGG flight! And she still needs to pack. Maybe tomorrow we can go and help her with the kids, while she packs. Today, we were NOT going to go over there to help. We did not want to get this flu as well!!!!!!
It's hard for me to leave, knowing I will not be here for my mom when I feel she needs me. But I have to trust God (and my brothers) that they will all take care of her. And that she will still be here when I come back. I feel very torn!!!!
